People come from all over to catch a “Silver King” as the tarpon migrate and spawn along Florida’s Gulf Coast every May through July. It’s a real thrill to tackle one of these beautiful tarpons, which can weigh over 200 lbs and leap several feet into the air! It’s not uncommon to hook into several that weigh over 100 lbs in a single day.
